Cynthia Goes to the Asylum

"Quit making that racket!' said one of the nurses as they frogmarched Cynthia down the dingy corridor to where the ambulance was waiting for her.
" We're trying to be discreet here. That's why we got you away to a nice quiet part of the building - Or would you rather we nabbed you in your nice big office with all those glass walls and doors so that the clerks and pen pushers could watch as we stripped you bare, put on your gag and jacket and then marched you through 'cubicleville' to the elevator and out via the front lobby?'
'Anyway, a person of your status should have known better, with people still wincing at the mention of 'Derivatives', to start making noises about examining the market to try and find out EXACTLY where all this firm's  missing millions went when the crash came.'
"That's why you're being packed off for a little R&R or off to some overseas conference or whatever lie the board will be spinning out while you're bouncing off the walls of your padded cell."
"But don't worry. They'll soon sort things out and then you'll be out in no time. They'll probably lay on a nice little vacation for you as way of compensation for all this trouble... Do you like boating holidays?'
Cynthia nodded.
"Boating accident it is, then."
